This looks promising, can't wait to watch it.

Prometheus

I seriously hope David doesn't turn into HAL9000

Was talking about this one over lunch. Looks very good. As long as it's not another "Event Horizon." But I'm sure with Ridley Scott directing, it will be as good as it looks.

This more look like Alien(1979) movie ,so maybe they use alien for inspiration or some moder version of Alien need to watch the movie to know for sure.
There's appear a alien ship same geometry as in Alien movie.

Awesome full video of JFK's famous space speech.

The CGI or computer animated drama/documentary takes place on Darwin IV, a planet 6.5 light years from earth, with 2 suns and 60% of Earth's gravity. Having identified Darwin as a world that could support life, Earth sends a pilot mission consisting of the Mothership Von Braun and three probes: Balboa, Da Vinci, and Newton. This robotic fleet is responsible for finding and assessing any life forms on Darwin IV. Initially, the expectation is to find microscopic life, but the probes soon find themselves in the middle of a developed ecosystem teeming with diversity of life of all sizes. The drama on Darwin IV is motivated by real science missions, such as the NASA Origins Program and the NASA / JPL Planet-Finder Mission, as well as the European Space Agency's Darwin Project. "Alien Planet " is a cosmic expedition along side Stephen Hawking, Michio Kaku, Jack Horner, Craig Venter, and George Lucas...

That was an interesting documentary.

I know it was fiction but well based in current scientific knoledge. Also design of aliens were quite good and logical - with few exceptions IMO.

Definitelly worth watching :D

Skydive without parachute 2400-foot

Gary Connery, a 42-year old stuntman, has become the first man to jump 2,400 feet (731 meters) and land safely -- without the use of a parachute. Years of training and a specially-designed wingsuit are to be credited for this truly intrepid feat. Connery gave his flabbergasting performance in (or, rather, above) Ridge Wood in Buckinghamshire, England.

Crazy or what?

Couldn't you just take a plain track like a runway and increase your pitch more and more, so you brake with air resistance?

Star Trek end...

expect anything?

Seems that he's proud of it

POST EDIT:
It seems so unbelievable I am not even sure if it is a good fake, cleverly using the picture graininess to hide the superimposition traces. Could someone offer an opinion on that?

The plane should have continued to land... let Darwinism do its work.

Seriously, though ... how did this guy get on the runway?
