"Houston, it appears that several green pigs have been found in LEO and approaching the International Space Station. We have confirmation that several birds have been launched into orbit by super-catapults to chase after them to get back several of their eggs."

Boeing 767-300 take off in Boston (Logan International). It's my favourite airport and city (beside Chicago) although I've never been there in reality for now (only in MSFS and Google Street View ). The General Electric CF6 creates epic noise levels. Watch in HD and fullscreen and turn your speakers up...

Another epic HD wing view take off (either Boeing 737-300 or -500). This time in Milano, Italy...

Speaking of planes.... the new Boeing 787's wing flex at takeoff is amazingly beautiful.

The 787 is one of the most beautiful airplanes anyway, if you ask me. It's rather innovative as well. And the "heart" of the 787 just is breathtaking...

EDIT

The funny thing is that they designed the new cockpit with a concept that allows you to identify buttons, and functions of the displays, without actually reading the manuals. I didn't have a look to any documents yet but the buttons and displays are rather obvious (if you know Boeing cockpits and its systems). There is actually nothing new. It's just digitalized. Makes it easy for pilots to change for example from a 767 to the 787.

Hatsune Miku - 99 Luftballons (Nena's classic hit :) )

and yes, she sings it in GERMAN, the way this song is supposed to be sung (much better than the english version) :D

At the same time, her accent is quite strong, and there were quite a few points where I couldn't understand her singing even with the subtitles right in front of me. Then again, my own status as a second language German speaker probably doesn't help either.

It's like Apollo 4 all over again

Nice to see the Delta IV getting a chance...now why don't they just man rate the thing.

Looks like a upper-stage propellant tank for storables, given the lack of insulation.

Its getting dangerous in the Volvo Ocean Race, two boats limping to the nearest port for repairs.

Perhaps this has been posted before. But I really like it. (allocate an hour)
