Internet Video Thread

? I'm a little lost there...

Where this video comes from ? OGLA or a beta version of Orbiter ?

Edit : I got it, thank you Izack !

please tell me this is fake.... either that or i'm in heaven.

No fakery, it's a feature planned, as Izack said, for 2010-P1.

That video was shot with Orbiter build 100812, which includes the feature. (It is disabled by default). Note that it doesn't work with planetary surfaces, only vessels and pseudo-vessels like launch towers and (potentially) terrain meshes (I haven't tested with those).

It's going to be in 2010P1. Found out about it in this thread.

:woohoo:

I'm going to have to redo most of the shots for my video now!
It's already in the publicly available beta patches for Orbiter 2010, so you can try it yourself, if you're not scared of "beta" word. It was added in the version 100812.

Inspired by Izack's screenshot, I found this reproduction of one of my favorite Star Trek scenes, from ST II: TWOK

The Asteroid Belt

Video showing discovery of asteroids from 1980 to 2010. Be sure to watch in 1080p, if possible.

How wonderful for AerLingus...?

I fail really to see the purpose of the gun explanation, other than a "Don't try anything, we'll shoot you" kinda message.

Actually that's pretty much the purpose. I think you've got it. :)

Just tweeted from @Astro_TJ:

Mucking about instead of actually beta testing gave some showoff opportunity for the crew of XR2-01 today...

You know how Moonbase Alpha has a text-to-speech option for the chatbox? Well, this is what happens when the average Steam gamer finds out.
