Look for Artlav's floating Venus station on Orbithanger.
The idea of a base on the surface of Venus seems, to me, to be pointless. No spacecraft would be able to land there and survive, and with realism settings on, not even the DG's engines will work on the surface

Well I meant some kind of floating base i've seen a few but i wish there were more. There is something with venus and its extremely hostile conditions that draws me toward it. I just wish some extremely talented addon creator could make the best of the best.
What we need, to start with, is good, stable collision detection. Then, anyone could create a floating base. It could be landed on the surface, with it's touchdown points kilometres below. Cheating, yeah, but i'd be happy with it for the time being.
