in the course of the latest news about life on the Verer, it would be interesting to create Venera-D the difficulty lies in the fact that the last rocket Proton made its launch last year. will have to create Angara rocket

It would be interesting, we have no nice realistic vessels for Venus exploration that are also optimized and made for Orbiter 2016.
Cool idea but lots of work i'm guessing.

there is a wonderful addition Vega1 & Vega2 (brianj) but it has not been updated for orbiter 2016

I'm OK to add the historic Venera missions to the Proton LV that is loaded in the tubes, just don't expect too close delays... Venusian missions certainly deserve more attention. :probe:

This is SC3 based, so shouldn't be too hard to add:

Feel free to do an updated version ;-)

I made a VB-version of the lander used for Venera 9 a while back, but the aerodynamics while descending is kinda odd, but made it fully automated. The zip below only contains Config and Scenario files, and the Proton launcher used is papyref's Pad 24 + Proton UR500 V1 addon:

(we need to setup a thread to share and further develop these WIP addons)

Yes, that's one problem we have here, and that's one of the reasons why I started that addon list. Before one told me there was a working Wiki for that...

I don't know, what could we do ? Having a repository to share resources, models, textures, even documentation (pictures, pdf...) would be great.

For repository, Orbiter Hangar has a developer resource category.:
I think that's a good starting place to share larger files like meshes and textures.

Config files can be posted on the forum, as they are text.

I suggest opening a thread for further discussion under "Addon Development", perhaps titled "Open addon development" (collaborative might also be a good word).

I wasn't even aware of that and I've been around a long time now ?
