Okay, been working on the website a bit more actively, and though I should share some progress. First off, here's a screen of the front 'splash' page.

This will only be the front page for users who are not logged in, while registered users will have the 'Briefing Room' as their front page. The news and announcements feed on the right will be updated whenever there is a new news story or announcement made on the site, and will only be available to registered users. The 'view' and 'edit' tabs are only available to moderators and administrators.

The 'About' drop down menu drops down to link to the 'welcome page', which is the page pictured above, a 'credits' page, which will credit everyone who helped/contributed, and a 'contact' page, which allows you to contact the site.

That's a snapshot of the mission report page, where you upload necessary files. You may have noticed different banners at the top, and that is because they rotate out. I only currently have one Orbiter one in being rotated, so please send some! The dimensions are 970x200, but you can send ones that are bigger. I will just have to edit them to fit. That's all for now!

great wook again fireballs i will work on sending you some banners

ps i could only post one so there is one more under the master link

They're nice pictures, but some (Specifically, the shuttle launching and the XR5) seem a little stretched. Was that intentional?

Also - I have an interesting idea for a screenshot, but not being at home means it'll be a little while before I can "set the stage" so to speak. But it's just one :(

they were not ment to be streached it happend because i had to re size the picture to fit the 970x200 format and i had to manually resize the picture after that

It would be best to crop to that size to maintain the aspect ratio. Resizing, without maintaining the aspect ratio, can lead to distortion.

yes but because the original picture was not equivelent to 970x200 i had to do it manually

It's looking great - I am looking forward to it going live!

just for me to get an idea of how many people we are looking at joining this thing if you are joining say i ... I

Alexw95- I don't think that will be an accurate way of gauging membership. I reckon I have had 40 unique visitors to this blog, maybe less. That is less than 5% of the active duty Orbinauts, as listed by the forum. That means 95% of this forum still doesn't know about this, because they don't read blogs.

ahh thanks fireballs i just was wanting to know if we have 3 people signed up or 120 thanks
