General Question Tutorials you would like to see

If I were making an advanced challenge scenario out of the initial scenario I would have supplied only 6900 m/s dv leaving the only option for completion probably that last option which would still have had about 400 m/s to spare. I know, cruel.

Cruel? No, not at all, if you compare it to medieval torture!

I used Burn Time Calculator to see how much fuel the DG would need to have a total dv of 6900 m/s and i got this number: 2120kg. (dv=6903 m/s).
I placed 2040kg in the Main fuel tank (15,81%) and 80kg in the RCS tank (13,333%).

Is it ok with you if i post your scenario (with the fuel mentioned above), in the tutorials and challenges thread?

The challenge will be to land on Olympus base before 2012.

SCORECARD:
1.Land on Mars before 2012 = 2000 pts
2.Land on a pad on Olympus base before 2012 = 1000 pts (Bonus)
3.For every day BEFORE the deadline 20 pts added to the score.
4.For a landing away from the base 1 pt is subtracted for every Km.

Example1: Land on Mars on 12 November 2011, 600km away from Olympus base: 2000(Land on Mars) + 980(49 days before deadline) - 600(600km away from base) = 2380 pts

Example2: Land on pad 1 of Olympus base on 30 December 2011: 2000(Land on Mars) + 1000(land on a pad of Olympus base) + 20(1 day before deadline) = 3020 pts

Yes. It's fine with me to post the scenario with the fuel you suggested. I also checked and as you said, it appeared to be a total of about 6903 m/s dv.
You might want to indicate an MJD date of 55926 as the last allowable arrival date. (which I think is Dec 31st 2011.)

How much fuel do you have left after docking to ISS with the space shuttle? What is the minimum required for a successful de-orbit burn? (with approximation).

I would like to see a tutorial for vessel texturing.
Specifically UCGO cargoes and the XR series repaint kits.
I know a little about textures from IL-2 reskinning, but I've never done it for Orbiter.

I know that the Deltaglider source code is often recomended as the place to look but a tutorial for coding a 2d-panel would be good.

I, for one, have been having trouble getting my head round the DG code as there's a lot of animation and VC code tied up in there too.
