Maybe there is a web-version to translate it easily?
I made this tutorial a while ago, but sorry I didn't make an English version...

I think that with "google translate" you will be able to understand.

otherwise ask me which section you don't understand, and I will try to translate it for you....

@jacquesmomo, it seems I found the web-version of your tutorial:

I've read this tutorial. Also you mention (announce) a (video) lesson on the site:
"Je vais pouvoir vous faire un petit tuto où je vous expliquerai pas à pas comment faire un objet, le texturer, et le placer dans une base."
Just to clarify, it doesn't exist yet, yes?

I'd like to understand if there's some difference between this export_msh_plugin.a8s (which is mentioned in the tutorial by @jacquesmomo above) and this 3ds2msh (it's available via the link in the second post).

Do they make the same *.msh file from an object modelled in Anim8or? I've only tried the 3ds2msh so far. Does it make sense to use both of them?

Yes: 3d2msh is an isolated executable module, while with the "export_msh_plugin.a8s" module you can export the 3D model directly from anim8or in msh format recognized by orbiter.
You just have (after) to add the list of textures at the end of the *.msh file, I can explain it to you, it's easy.

So I only use the a8s plugin to export directly from animator.
