A year and a half ago, I posted about my Prometheus launcher and how I'd lost everything due to a hdd crash and decided to start over. Well, a year and a half later, I feel that I've completed the first releasable version of Prometheus. The only big feature that I've left out for this release will be a launch autopilot, but given how complex an autopilot can be, I didn't want to be trying to work on both the launcher and the autopilot at the same time. Today, I typed the last development code for the vehicle, anything I do from now till public release would be bug fixing (if any :P). I'm planning a closed beta soon, but DO NOT ASK TO BE PART OF IT! Anyone who asks is automatically disqualified. Once the beta is rolling, I'll be making an official post in the Addon Development forum with pretty pictures and a more complete description.
Given that Prometheus as a whole has been in development for about two and a half years, and that its development has chillingly paralleled parts of my life I'd just rather forget, this is quite a welcome relief to be able to consider myself "done" with it.
