Before STS-135 was manifested, there was some consideration to launch a extra space shuttle mission STS-136 with Endeavour and ET-94. This scenario advances on that concept.

STS-136 (ULF8) will launch to the International Space Station with a crew of 4. Commander Rick Sturckow, Pilot Barry Wilmore, Mission Specialists Randy Bresnik and Patrick G. Forrester on March 3rd, 2012. The mission is based of speculation that one of the last space shuttle missions would return PMA-03 from the Tranquility Module to Earth due to clearence issues with the ITS cooling radiants. In its place, for future commercial avaliablity, a SCM similar to what was placed on Hubble during HST-SM4 in May 2009 will be placed on the forward end of Node-3. Also with STS-136 is MPLM Raffaello, to be installed on the Node-2 nadir port.

Several cuts have been made to the ISS to help the frame rates, which might detract from the realistic experience but was done in order to advance the general idea of servicibility to the station. There will be issues with this addon, and I cannot assure it will work.

**REQUIRED ADDONS**
Donamys ISS AtoZ v.2
Thorton's ISS v.3.2
ShuttleFleet (No longer on OH)
SSU (look to OF for further details on where to download)

This is my first addon, even though I have been a regular on OF for over 4 years, but all the same I hope that you will enjoy this fictional scenario.

First ever addon on OH I have posted on the 4 years of being on OF! Nice to be part of the club.

Yes he did.

But from what I understand, SSU team is working on releasing what they have to OH soon.

No need to wait of OH. The source for SSU is out now. Just grab it, compile it, and fly the Shuttle!

That's awefull news; the guy was one of the biggest contributors that made Orbiter what it is today !
His add-ons (especially the shuttle fleet) were what made Orbiter a great sim ( in my opinion).

What happened; did one of the newbies manage to piss him off by asking stupid questions ?

I'm not sure what happened, the only thing we heard was that he was retiring shuttlefleet and the next thing we know - it's off OH!

He has done this before from what I heard. I think its getting rediculous. I say just ask him for the source code and just be done with it, I cant stand seeing him punish himself.

Oh dear, sounds like something controversial if he's taken it off OH...

Anyway, nice release Kyle, kudos for your first addon not being something silly in a UCGO box...

I agree. Figured some realistic alternative reality would be nice for orbiter.

Thanks for the comment! :):tiphat::hailprobe:

the shuttle ultra

:thumbup:i hope the ssu team has all 5 spaceworthy orbiters and mabey enterprise with ummu capibilitys. another thing im hopeing for is docking ports on columbia and challenger so we can create a history of what may have been had nither orbiter been destroyed (believe it or not the columbia was the orbiter origionaly planned to fly sts-118 in november 03 (and eventualy end up in the smithsonian) as one of the other 3 shuttles (i think discovery) would be in california for mantenance)

Since the scenario starts at 11:16:03 AM EST, I don't know how long to wait until engine ignition. What time is the launch on this scenario?

I usually start it off at T-9 minutes, so you'll want to aim to launch at 11:25 am.

Thank you, sir. One more thing; what time, if you made a landing scenario, would Endeavour land on Runway 17 at White Sands?

You know, I don't know exactly why I made Endeavour land there, but really whenever you want to as long as the orbital plane of Endeavour is lined up with the landing site (ascending or descending).
