This is the first in the expansion pack series of scenario files for STS-126. This package includes a launch scenario and the rendezvous scenario on FD3 for an on time launch on 15 Nov 2008 at 00:55 UTC. One item that needs correction is the proper placement of Dextre and the SSRMS on the ISS, but the orbital elements are correct. Revisions to this package will be forthcoming and will correct the placement of the ISS items. Please read the included setup file (pdf file) for required add-ons and installation order of the necessary files. Dave

Hmmm...

It seems we are both working on the same thing...

Maybe we could collaborate???

We currently have scenarios done.

Maybe we could combine them with your ISS modifications???
It would be nice to be able to include the ESP's....

We have payloads....

I think it would be better if we collaborated, as it would get done quicker...

Just a quick update for everyone; I have received updated predicted state vectors and the latest launch time for tomorrow; I anticipate updated scenarios to post within the next 12 to 14 hours. I have also confirmed the SSRMS, MBS and Dextre locations on the station so they will also be corrected. Watch for updates a little later...

Package has been updated to include additional FD1 and FD2 scenarios based upon updated state vectors from NASA.

Hey Dave,

thanks for the scenarios! I am not sure what is causing it, however my on-orbit scenarios crash after about 99 seconds sim-time. The launch scenario works fine, no problem. I made sure I have selected the “Respawn Orbiter Process” option in the “Orbiter shutdown options”.
Are you by chance aware of anything else that could cause it? If not, no biggie.

I've run some scenarios from that pack for as long as twelve hours without a problem. Now I have to ask, did you install these scenarios into a "clean" installation as directed by the instructions, or did you just add them on to an existing installation of Orbiter? Have you tried the real-time scenarios that I just released today? Are they also causing CTD's?

Dave
