SpaceX is targeting launch of its twelfth Commercial Resupply Services mission (CRS-12) from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The instantaneous launch window is on Monday, August 14 at 12:31 p.m. EDT, or 16:31 UTC. Dragon will separate from Falcon 9’s second stage about 10 minutes after liftoff and attach to the space station on August 16.

This mission would be the last to use “new build” Dragon and the rest of CRS missions will be reused capsules. (Source)

I wish them good luck and godspeed!

I filmed it from Port Canaveral with my telescope and custom tracking software. This time I managed to get a continuous shot of MECO, stage Sep, re-entry and landing, only briefly interrupted by clouds. The SpaceX webcast ground telescope seemed to lose sight of the first stage just as it went transonic, but I managed to catch it, condensation clouds and all.

Fantastic results, MessierHunter! The side-by-side view showing the telescope tracking is especially impressive. Keep up the good work!
