Happy Republic Day from Indians! I am very proud to be a citizen of India. Today, I want to talk about the spaceflight remarks that Indians made.

1. India's first satellite, the Aryabhata, was launched by the Soviet Union on 19 April 1975 from Kapustin Yar using a Cosmos-3M launch vehicle.
2. Rohini Technology Payload (RTP) was the first satellite that ever launched from Indian soil. It was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre on 10 August 1979 using Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV).
3. Rakesh Sharma was the first Indian in space. He flew on Soyuz T-11 spacecraft launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome on 3 April 1984.

4. Kalpana Chawla was the first Indian woman in space. Her first spaceflight was on Space Shuttle Columbia launched from Kennedy Space Center LC-39B on 19 November 1997. She was killed in Columbia Disaster on 1 February 2003.
5. Chandrayaan-1 was India's first mission to the Moon. The unmanned lunar exploration mission included a lunar orbiter and an impactor called the Moon Impact Probe. It was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre on 22 October 2008 using Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV).
6. Mangalayaan-1 was India's first mission to the Mars. It was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre on 24 September 2014 using Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV).
7. PSLV-C37 was the 39th mission of the Indian Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), carried and deployed 104 satellites in sun-synchronous orbits. Launched on 15 February 2017 by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) from Satish Dhawan Space Centre. It broke the earlier record of launching 37 satellites by a Russian Dnepr rocket on 19 June 2014.
