The thing says "请使用Internet Explorer进行收看". I don't want to expose my long-not-updated windows to the internet, and I certainly don't want to install weird ActiveX components.

I'm working on it - will try to patch the stream here from my sat in about 10 minutes.

Nothing special on the CCTV 9 now, they explain how stuff works, etc.

T-15 Minutes. Though, the announcer said that the launch will occur at around 13:16 GMT. So I think there's a delay - probably around 3/4 minutes.

I now capitulated. I booted my laptop (which has a more recent WinXP SP3), and I'm watching through the dirty CCTV ActiveX plugin system.
