Yes, good for the kids, more of that stuff the better I think. When I was a lad, we thought that school programs on the wireless were hi-tech(that's wireless in the Marconi sense).

Shame they didn't call it the BBC Nano, or Femto, seeming as this is the successor to the original Micro. Although I wonder how many kids' heads that would have gone over... Wish I'd had this come out when I was younger, would have been right up my street! I wonder how many of them are going to be lost on helium balloons...

Only just found out, the BBC micro was made by Acorn Computers, one of whose products was the Acorn RISC Machine processor - the ARM architecture family eventually came to dominate the smartphone market... Aaaaand, there goes 3 hours into Wikipedia again! :lol:
