Hello Orbinauts,
i am from Straubing Lower-Bavaria, my name is Christian 'BerZerK' Skwirblis and today i finally subscribed to this forum. I am not quite new to Orbiter (i start it every once in a while since late 2013 i guess). I came to Orbiter because i played a freeware project called "Pioneer Space Simulator", which is a fan-remake of the old 1993 "Elite 2 - Frontier" from David Braben. I liked that game because of its semi-realism and i always had an affinity for science and space exploration, so i searched for more realistic simulators and found Orbiter on Youtube. As i wanted to understand all this i had the curiosity and endurance to work myself in and (thanks to the Youtube Videos of David 'Blixel' Courtney) i would consider myself not a 'Noob' anymore but there is still a lot to learn (further MFD Modules, more difficult missions)
My most beloved series in my childhood where of course Carl Sagans "Cosmos". Personally i am not associated with computer science or physics or mathematics, i am just a humble office worker, but i give my best to understand all these complex mathematical subjects, because i want to spread the 'virus' and infected a few friends of mine. And my personal mission is to teach them so that they overcome the first frustration barrier more easy and like this great Project than i do!
Thanks to the creator Dr. Martin Schweiger and
all Enthusiasts who make these great Addons.
For me its a pure wonder, how this can be done.
