Is there a good freeware, to make that wha happens on the screen to an avi or quick-time movie and the hings coe out the speakers to the sound-track of that movie?

In short, no, not freeware. The better solutions I've found which won't cost you anything are CamStudio - which is good for recording the screen while you do ordinary Windows tasks, for instance, and FRAPS - which records games, but the quality of the free version of FRAPS is somewhat poor, and video is watermarked with FRAPS over the top. (Both are capable of recording audio from the system and a microphone at the same time.)

Both of these make adequate videos, but realistically, to make high-quality video, you'll need to pay for something like the premium version of FRAPS or similar.

I have premium version of FRAPS and Sony Vegas for editing. FRAPS allows recording only in full screen. there is a freeware version of CamStudio, but only allows you to record half minute, what works. In the videos I've done, the "shot" more is 15 or 20 seconds.

New here but I often make screencast tutorials.

Besides Camstudio, which is an open source screen recorder, you can try BB Flashback express. It's freeware with webcam recording feature.

What's more, those web-based screen recorders like screentoaster are great, free.

If you have budget, try Camtasia and DemoCreator. They have many useful video/audio editing feature and publish solutions which can be hardly found in free screen recorders.

Fraps only works ingame, I mean you need to record video in full screen mode.

Hope it helps.

I've used many things to do this, most recently FRAPS (paid version) and a trial of Camtasia. I'm still pondering over whether to actually stump up the cash for Camtasia - though it's an excellent program for the job, the price is still somewhat offputting, especially for the purposes I'd use it for.

You can check out the differences on my youtube channel as it happens. For reference, all the Orbiter videos I have there were shot with the paid version of FRAPS, the Virtualbox Windows 98 videos with Camtasia's trial version, and the others with camstudio.
