Hey,

I'm new here and have been dabbling in Orbiter (2016) for quite awhile I can get into Orbit, Dock with ISS and launch a Satellite, I do prefer to use DanSteph's DG and I am looking for a way to 'recover' a launched satellite, I can get sync'd up and within 100km but I can't work out how to get closer.

Any help?

TIA

Perhaps you can "dock" with the satellite just as you do with the ISS.

A nice tool for "brute force" navigation is InterplanetaryMFD's "course" program.
It will get you into an intercept course with whatever target you select :)

100km is a long way out. If you can already dock with the ISS simply use the same rv techniques to get close to your target.

My tutorial for Soyuz to MIR explains the techniques...
