Well, I am pleased about it because I get to stay at home today, but other than that, I don't have an interest. It's been drilled into us for the past couple of months by every TV channel and company taking advantage of it to try and sell you 'something for the Royal Wedding' that it's quite an anticlimax when it actually happens!

I had just seen a few minutes of it, had been pretty busy today, but what I saw was fine. Well organized marriage, not too formal, as you might have had to fear.

Just the security presence was a bit disturbing, in all the planning for the marriage, it might have been possible to make the security forces less prominent in the pictures. Not have less security...just don't make them look like protecting Arsenal and Chelsea from each other.

They might, no, they will show it in the news this evening I guess. But I won't see it because I will turn it off at that point (if it is not 50% of the entire news, I won't see the entire news then). It is already enough that there are articles on the front page even in our small provincial newspaper, which I don't read anyway (the entire newspaper). It is just fading information on paper that senselessly clogs the trash barrel (and our corridor first).

At least Scotland IS represented on the Union Flag! I see no dragons and not a hint of green on it...

That is more to do with Wales being annexed by the Kingdom of England prior to the Union of the Crowns in 1707. Wales and England were, together, the Kingdom of England.

The unification between the Kingdom's of England and Scotland created a blue/white saltire with a white highlighted red cross on top.
