Looking forward to the scale model, might get it for Xmas...

Edit:
Peculiar statement at the end of above?
Regulations relating to international arms trafficking will need to be dealt with when negotiating contracts with other nations

Well, thats a bit of a generous catch-all. Maybe the government should stick a RAF roundell on it, and call it Typhoon II.

Well, since the stuff appears to be copyrighted, I have E-mailed the IAF to make extra sure it's OK to copy it for non-commercial/educational purposes. I neither want nor need any trouble. I talked about it with Mr. Hempsell at the exhibition, he recommended me to ask the IAF. So I got to sending the inquiry just today. I had and still have some catching up to do in school. Couldn't have split myself in two during the last week.

Worst case - you're stuck with the abstracts and will have to steal whatever else. Best case - you'll get to see the papers, presentations, and updates.

I received no response from the IAF, I'll send a request to Reaction Engines tomorrow. The neat thing is that the DVD has been updated, so in theory you might be able to see the presentations in addition to the papers. They sure do look nice.

What I didn't mention earlier, I was asking (at the congress) about how the artwork is done and so, with the intention of getting something close to accurate meshes or mesh-convertible 3D models right from the source. That might come in handy for the Orbiter addon I plan to make.

Alright. Turns out REL don't mind at all, it's just that the IAF reserves first publication rights for some papers they select for Acta Astronautica. The funny thing is that with a bit of ingenuity, you can easily Google your way to this URL:

http://www.iafastro.net/download/congress/IAC-10/DVD/full/

Then click on "List Companies" -> "R" -> "Reaction Engines Ltd."

And presto! You can see the stuff without me taking a risk of being sued for violating copyright law.

Recruitment at REL:
Not sure I qualify for this one or not:
We are looking for a temporary enthusiastic person...
I'm not sure how to conjoin "temporary" with the rest of the sentence:
  • Temporary person who is enthusiastic?
  • Person who is temporarily enthusiastic?
  • Temporary role for an enthusiastic person? <- Must be that one :p

Yes, thats an odd useage of grammar, unless its very subtle!

On a different note, how do you get the little Lambda in front of your sentences, and isn't it too early for little lamdas, oh dear.

Hm, you beat me to it. Anyway, those two listed companies tasked with payload interface and structure loading studies look somewhat interesting.
