Here's a rotten example of my playing around with BASH scripting . . .

Code:
#~/bin/multiguess
#
clear
echo "I am thinking of a number between 0 and 32,767. You have four guesses to get it right."
read pause
echo "Just kidding! I wouldn't really do THAT to you . . . but I DO have an easier one: From 0-9."
echo "Are you ready? Here we go!"
echo "(Press any key to continue.)"
read pause
correct=no
while [ $correct="no" ]; do
clear
echo "Please enter a number between 0 and 9."
read number
let counter=counter+1
if [ $number -eq 7 ]; then
echo "Correct! You've guessed it! And it only took you" $counter " attempt(s) to guess it!"
correct=yes
else
echo "Nope . . . sorry. Try again!"
fi
echo "(Press any key to continue.)"
read pause
done
#Code counter cleanup.
if [ $counter -gt 1 ]; then
let counter=0
fi
And no. I'm not ready to tackle C# programming yet. :lol:

Class just finished reading Romeo and Juliet. I need something to do over spring break, so...

Code:
So has passed the woe of his Romeo,
And ended has the fret of a Juliet,
Now does come a Prince with a need to know
And come did a man who knew it yet.

But know it did the Prince not,
So summoned he all who of the man would speak.
And found he all who had he sought.
Said have I about the first week.

Begin we now the week stamped two.
Will we discover the destiny of those whom we seek?
Of that but nothing can I promise you,
Lest I mar the story I speak.

In the end a story will have been told,
Save some things which to say I am not so bold.

...

CSI - Verona :lol: :tumbleweed:

Did someone say Romeo and Juliet?

I'm the guy in the white shirt.

The Battleship or the SSBN?:lol:

The North Dakota-Class Battleship, BB-60, as Luke Skywalker kindly pointed out.

(I don't think I'm allowed on the SSBN! :lol: Ya know those crazy military regulations, man. :P)

EDIT: That said, I get to sleep in the enlisted section under deck for two nights. I think it's cooler to stay in this section rather than the officer's quarters, if you ask me. (Well, if I had to stay on-board year 'round, it'd be different, but you know what I'm saying. :P)

I toured the Alabama a few years ago. Pretty nice digs, but I prefer my old ship the USS Missouri though. Little bit bigger, and the berthing was far and away better than those old racks (hurrah for coffin lockers).

All told though, I'd rather be in O-country.

Speaking of ballistic missiles, I toured a US Air Force SAC nuclear ICBM silo not too long ago. Interesting stuff.:thumbup:

Hehehey, my uncle served on the Missouri on his required stint on a ship. Don't think he liked it much, him being a SeeBee and all.

Tell you what though, I'd much rather be on an Iowa than a North-Dakota. :P

hit my brother up if you want a spot on the Big E...

anyways on a random note

i found a fork in a shallow freshly dug grave this morning with obvious signs of blunt force trauma to the tongs...

stay tuned for scenes from the next episode of 'CSI: Forkami'

That'd be the Titan II Missile Museum outside Tuscon, AZ, right? Nicely restored and maintained, if a little out of the way.

Yep, awesome little museum. I'm glad they give out those hard-hats though, I hit my head on some low beams twice!

I have come to the conclusion the KSP forum is now a health hazard:

Kryten [29|Feb 05:08 PM]:Yeah, do a testcube. 3.5mX3.5mX3.5m, so we know we've just not coped it.
