Because Android`s browser don`t preserve typed things over accidental pressing of an inaptly positioned back button like all PC browsers do, a long rant about hardship of typing on a tablet is replaced with this short note about it's retarded browser instead.

I've lost posts on PC browsers too. I find it almost has more to do with the type of page than the browser.

i use the standard browser on my droid...it hates O-F though

Even the standard browser on mine is okay witth O-F. But this new Dolphin Browser HD is like chrome for android. There's firefox for android too, but this performs a bit better not to mention it looks better. And it has these nice little optional plug ins.

I just repaired my laptop!

I diagnosed and soldered a severed negative power lead at the plug end of the 4" cable serving power to the motherboard.

Now I'm shopping for 4GB DDR2 SODIMMs. I've 4GB of memory right now; I want to double that. :headbang:

Are you saying it wont upgrade to froyo (2.2) or from it to gingerbread (2.3)? What phone do you have?

Droid 2 by motorola, and it wont go from 2.2 to 2.3 even though my friends phone (exact same phone, same carrier) updated
