What unussapiens said ^. In addition, the lack of uniqueness of our flag drives me crazy. To start with, it is virtually the same as New Zealand. Secondly, it features another country's flag in the corner (same as at least 4 other nations that I can think of). Lastly, we are not the only country in the world that can see the southern cross (at least 5 other nations feature it on their flags). Call me unpatriotic, but can't we do better than that?

A funny thing (or maybe sad thing?) is that apparently even some Australians cannot even distinguish their own flag from New Zealand's:

It can be noted that a similar discussion occured in Canada back in the 60s on whether to remove the Union Flag from their flag or leave it there as a reminder of their British origins:

That being said, I do find the history of national flags interesting.

Hmm, well, Firefox 3 is quite a big improvement over FF2, it seems to be more stable.

After using Opera for so long without major problems, there was little reason to switch browsers, but I tried Firefox anyway. The main reason I switched back was because I did not really feel like learning a new interface and keyboard shortcuts. What I want to know is am I the only one who actually uses Opera?

Well that picture is a bit of an exaggeration because most of those flags aren't national flags. In fact, a lot of them belong to Australian states or organisations. It is reasonable to expect that their flags would be derived from the Australian national flag.

A funny thing (or maybe sad thing?) is that apparently even some Australians cannot even distinguish their own flag from New Zealand's:

I've been using opera for ages. And I will stick with it.
I try firefox from time to time, even used it for a while... It is just not the same.
Opera has all the stuff I would need to get via plugins in ff.
The best thing is operas caching. Never beaten, most likely will never be.
F8 g orbiter CTRL+W CTRL+ALT+Z CTRL+RIGHT

edit: FF is a great browser, it just is slower, has fewer options and features. It has some minor advances over opera. I'll never blame someone for using it, it is just that opera supports my browsing style best.
