Neat little FPS game. Basicaly, it is set before the original Valve game "Portal". Instead of having GLaDOS guide you and talk you through, you actually have human beings helping you. THe best part? It's completely free! I know the file is a tad bit big, but I will tell you if it's worth it oncde it finishes downloading.

I haven't tried it yet... but this is a MOD isn't it? Not just anyone can download and use it as far as I can tell. In any case... neat! :P

Reading the FAQ fail:

In order to play Portal: Prelude you need to have Steam installed on your system, of course. You also need to be the owner of Portal and probably nothing else. Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike Source, Day of Defeat Source or the Source SDK Base (which can be downloaded for free in the tools tab of Steam) may be of some use, but we don't think so. In fact, I'm not really sure you need anything else than Portal, so I advise you to try and see, because there's no way I'm going to uninstall every Source game of my computer until it doesn't work anymore. Steam will notify you if something goes wrong... and if something goes wrong, start by installing the Source SDK Base.

It is a mod, you need at least Portal to play it.

Argh, I hate that last chamber, Number 19. I never passed it!
19 on the REAL Portal? There are only like 2 REAL levels on Portal. :P The rest just lead up to them. ;)

And indeed, it looked like an obvious mod that would be illegal and mostly impossible to be released to people who don't own at least a Source game or Portal.
