On the recent Day of Russia, I've been to Monino not very far from Moscow, to see the open air exhibition of Soviet/Russian Air Force and Civil aircraft. Took a large amount of pictures, which are now uploaded, sorted and tagged in two languages.
If you have any interest in historical Soviet aircraft (airplanes, helicopters, stratospheric baloons, more exotic items) you are welcome to visit the following galleries:
Antonov design bureau planes

Beriev design bureau planes

Ilyushin design bureau planes

Lavochkin design bureau planes

Myasischev design bureau planes

Mikoyan and Gurevich design bureau planes

MiG-105.11 space fighter prototype aircraft at Monino exhibition

Sukhoi design bureau airplanes

Tupolev design bureau planes

Yakovlev design bureau planes

Helicopters at Monino exhibition

Old timers and other things in Monino Museum

And here are the pictures from the junkyard, or aircraft cemetary, which is not officially a part of the exhibition.

Most of the pictures are available in high-res!
Commenting on the pics and asking questions are welcomed!
