This is NOT my work. I have just uploaded it to OH so that it can still e downloaded after the hack of AVSIM. The description from the website: This addon will add the majority of our Solar System's moons to Orbiter. As well, the Gas-Giants get a makeover with atmospheres and cloud layers Original Authors: VF2_Rolf, Chode, Tony, Hot Dog + many others. For more information, look here: http://www.geocities.com/fastheinz39/Saturns_Moons.html

Excellent. all we need now is the hires textures and the patch. and that will be all taken cared of:cheers:

Uploading them too....

If any authors want me to change the description, I will do it ASAP.

I have hi res one and two and the patch in my archives, what should I do to get it where it can be accessed by all? Oops! I just reread the previous osts and realized it has been done already.

Yeah. So cool that you uploaded this.

Thanks for uploading, guys. The Avsim hack had me searching for the master zips on many an unmarked disc.

The discription seems fine, btw.

Oh...there's a small gif in the zip for a photo if you want to add that. Geocities is also running on borrowed time, make sure to upload the latest patch (available here: http://www.geocities.com/fastheinz39/op_update-061006.zip )

Looks fine.

I might be mistaken, but I think Dan fixed the Delta Glider problem re: too many moons a few versions ago. This addon is a few years old, now.
;)

Test first before adding any special cfgs.

I know this thread's been inactive for about 8 months at this point but does anyone know the order that these should be installed in? We've got the base, hi res 1, hi res 2, and the patch. In that order? I know orbiter can be pretty temperamental about this kind of thing

Base first. I don't think it matters after that.

Base first...then the patch. The other zips contain higher resolution textures for some moons. They are older and I notice that better versions might be available...so test.

Also change the cfgs from the two moons Janus and Epimetheus to the entries mentioned in this thread. Just locate the cfg files and copy/paste the whole thing overtop the existing entries.

If any other moons are acting weird...let me know.

My downloads of the base package and the two patches are missing Pallene and S2002J1 for some reason. I just removed the entries from the sol.cfg. so that it works.

Same here.

Unfortunately though, I noticed a bug today that appears to stem from using this add-on. Install it on a fresh copy of Orbiter 2010, then fire up the quickstart scenario, then hit object info. If you scroll down to bases in the list Orbiter CTDs immediately. Does anyone know what is causing this & how to fix it?

Edit: Fixed it, the patch solved it. :)
