Orbiter Video Thread

Carmen, I love the "Redneck" Firefly!!! I kept expecting you to pull a "crazy Ivan".
That particular add-on is what prompted me to download Orbiter a few years ago in the first place.

You can't stop the signal!

Thanks Phantom - but at that point we didn't know how to really fly the Firefly with all the keyboard commands. Maybe in the next "redneck" video :3

We did however learn to fly them in orbit in close formation today.

A REAL fast ORL-KSC-Wideawake-flight with a DGIV

A ORL-KSC-Wideawake-flight in 1111s wich is real good for a DGIV (like 900s with a XR2-Ravenstar):

I hope you enjoyed it!

Hold on - dailymotion rejected it, transferring to vimeo

This is the first video tutorial for my flight school (guess who it's named after).

Been working out the key commands in my head, trying to determine what order to push which keys to swivel the main engines in the correct order. Going to go back and watch that episode again and get the maneuver sequence down, then give it a shot. If I have time this weekend, I definitely want to try this.

Just hit either 1 2 3 or 4 to get one of the engine pods turned around then hit 7 real fast. You will spin like a washing machine from all that differential thrust :3

As I saw (and flought) the Osprey in Orbiter I thought that I must make a Video with it, so I made an Orbiter-Video with an aircraft that can't fly to space ( I hope it's still right for this thread).
It's just a fascinating aircraft and Kev33 made a very detailed, realistic and equipped-with-some-real-cool-features-model (like G-movement in thhe Virtual Cockpit) of it - thanks Kev!

I hope you enjoyed it!
- did you know that the Osprey V22 is also seen in the Simpsons The movie?

I didn't realise the shuttle had that much power. I saw over 51 kN of thrust on approach to ISS.

EDIT: I forgot to ask, is that a modification? I'm pretty sure that the Shuttle does not have settings like that...

Great video. I just love this plane/helicopter since I got Arma 2... and yes, I remember it from the movie...
