I do know that sometimes when i'm in orbit, and I time-warp, the sim will freeze for a few seconds if I warp too fast.

What version of orbiter are you running? (I can't get 2010 to run so I wouldn't know about that version :( )

I started having a "Flash" every few minutes. Didnt really mess up the sim though. I found that it was two things running in the background. The flash happened everytime my e-mail cked for messages and I had a web page running that would refresh every few mins. Now I dont run anything except Orbiter and no more flashes.

Are you running in windowed mode or full screen?

Also, can you try running orbiter_ng.exe with the DirectX 7 client?

What antivirus software are you running and have you tried disabling it to test if it interferes with Orbiter?
What graphics card are you using and do you have the latest drivers? Often new systems often don't have the newest drivers right out of the box.
Since this happens in fullscreen al the time have you tried it in windowed mode?
Try posting a printout of your Orbiter Log file so we can see what you are running.

It's a wild guess, but as others are saying, I would bet money it is a background program messing with you. Never had that kind of trouble with orbiter, but I used to with other 3d things or especially games like sim city and doom 3 when I would let background processes continue. I use vista and I turned off the "pretty" windows and all that because they just make all my graphic intensive things run crappy. so my computer looks like a xp system, and i even found that having a plain desktop can help. My desktop is Old Fashioned Windows Blue. hahahah

Are you running in windowed mode or full screen?

Also, can you try running orbiter_ng.exe with the DirectX 7 client?

windowed, and run the who what where?

In the "video" options on the launchpad, check the "always enumerate devices" tab and verify that you're using the right one. Unless you have multiple monitors, you probably want to be using the last one in the list.

Also, try running fullscreen instead of windowed.

i switched to window mode a few seconds ago it is seemed to stop i alwayed used fullscreen i sayd window by accident *facepalm*
If running in windowed mode fixes the problem and is acceptable for you, I'd say do that.
