A while back there was an attempt by some OF members to try and get the Probe recognized as a bona fide internet meme by the people at knowyourmeme.com, but it got rejected because it's an inside joke for Orbiter users and nobody outside the OF or old M6 community knows about it.

It's still a meme, though, just a "local" one.

For those new to the idea, the grandaddy of all internet memes is "All your base are belong to us" which really set the standard for it all. It was a mistranslated dialogue from a game called "Zero Wing" which got repeated in forums and chatrooms as a recurring joke and then got made into a music video and actually wound up on MTV.
