Hey everyone!

Well I must say I'm blown away by how much popularity my Orbiter Flag addon has gained over the last few months. I mostly have to credit all the authors who have contributed additional skins (especially SEEC Boy) and supporting addons like the PlantFlagMFD and Grand Flag Challenge idea.

Given it's popularity, I wonder if it's time to give the Orbiter Flag .dll an update. Are there any features that would make it more user-friendly or more fun?

EscapeTomsFate, if you are willing, I'd like to work with you to upgrade the PlantFlagMFD and include it in the base Orbiter Flag addon. That makes it much easier to create flags when you need them!

A few things I've thought about:
-keys to cycle through available skins
-VOR transmitter inside the flag?
-a scale parameter to let you adjust the size?
-[MFD] cycle through available skins or list-box selection (rather than typing to select the skin you want)
-[MFD] graphical preview of skin?
-[MFD] offset distance from center of vessel so flag doesn't spawn in the middle of ship

I'm open to suggestions. Maybe the Orbiter Flag is fine as-is, but if there is any way I can make it more user-friendly, I'm happy to try.

The skin selection should be as a MFD function rather than pressing keys.
I appreciate very much the idea of the VOR transmitter:speakcool:.

By the way: I'm doing two new skins for your flag, but there haven't been time for orbiting lately ;).

Hi Countdown84. I enjoy your OrbiterFlag add-on, thanks everyone who contributes to this adventure. I just found this site, http://flagspot.net/flags/fic.html , that has references to many types of flags, both real and fictional. It may provide a source for anyone who wishes to make a contribution. :)
