I downloaded some addons and now it says theres a "critical error." Anyone know what might be goin' on?

What's up Doorman. Alright. Since this is your first post not many people are gonna care, but on the forum your always going to be specific and provide the most information. Regarding that, go to your Orbiter folder and find a .txt file called Orbiter.log. Copy the contents of that file here.

+1. "problems" is not a very appealing title, be more specific ;)

He is new to this. I kinda recruited him into Orbiter last week and he is still learning the ropes. Especially forum etiquette. :tiphat:

Hmm, looks like a re-installation will fix this. Go here and download the .msi version and run the installation again from there. Install it the your "My Documents" folder. http://downloadorbitersim.com/?page_id=42

Not necessarily. Let me ask you this. How did you install Orbiter?

I used the Microsoft Installation. I didnt have to install to the "My Documents" because it put itself there.

Go to the Orbiter folder, take a picture of it, and post it here. Your missing Earth.cfg which is one of the main files Orbiter loads which makes me think the directory is messed up.

File not found: .\Config\Earth.cfg

wtf? That file doesn't vanish by itself. Did Orbier work before you installed the add-ons? if not, you got yourself a corrupted install, and it would be interesting to know where you got it from. If yes, well... someone finally wrote a mischevious add-on. Or you simply deleted some files yourself by accident.

Take the picture? Press PrtSc button on your keyboard. Go to MS Paint and press ctrl-V. Save it as a file. Then it will be a picture file on your computer. Post here and upload it as an attachment.

And please for the love of everything that's good on the Internet, please save it a compressed format such as JPG.

Alright.
But if it is the Earth.cfg then it isn't there because I had tried to download the lv.10 earth but it didn't finish extracting the file and had deleted the original Earth.cfg.

MS Paint saves in .png by default since Vista. ;)

Well, that's your problem. I would recommend just making a new installation, as opposed to recovering the file. That's usually what I do :P

Could i just download a new Earth.cfg such as lv.9 Earth?

I'm pretty sure it was the lv.10 Earth i tried to download and inttall. :/

Looks good to me. I'd just recommend a re-installation. You should already have the other addons on your PC so just extract them again after it is done installing. All this shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.
