Hi All. I have been working on the Default Atlantis platform in Orbiter 2016 and want to edit the scenario (via the GUI), such as changing the time, camera additions, etc. I am using a default Orbiter 2016 scenario: "Atlantis satellite Launch.scn" located in ..\Orbiter2016\Scenarios\Space Shuttle Atlantis\. After loading it, I am editing the scenario slightly while paused, then un-pausing to write the new state of the scenario, the re-pausing.
Even just adding a camera view or no changes at all, and then switching to the external view to save using the menu bar seems to break the scenario.
After exiting to the launchpad and "saving current..." to a scenario in the root Scenarios folder, I notice after starting that new scenario up or launching the "Current state" and un-pausing, Atlantis just leaps off the launchpad without thrust of any kind and flies up a few hundred feet and comes back down.
In Orbiter 2010, this never happened. I wondered if #1 anyone else sees the same behavior, and #2 if there is a fix.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
