A month or two ago I moved all the textures out of the folder so the whole thing was just gray, and it still didn't make any difference (unless you're talking about reskinning it entirely so there aren't any textures associated with it at all).

The only solution at this point would be to start from scratch, since I don't have the original model anymore (and I don't even think I have Blender installed).

I'm dreaming about making an asteroid base in the same vein as this colony, and since it doesn't involve any long, flat pieces there probably won't be any z-fighting, so maybe I could take another crack at that O'Neill colony sometime. It'll be a while, though, as real life/art/grad school application is taking a lot of time.

You're nearly right, but backwards. O'Neil's Colonies were written about and illustrated in 1974, so they inspired the colonies in Gundam(1979). Nice to see someone interested in the classics.

Nonono, I mean this mod is inspired by Gundam, which the colonies was inspired by an actual design I do enjoy classics though, especially good ones at that.
