I looked up an oil painting on Wikipedia. The article gave the dimensions of the painting.

I thought something looked funny about the line stating the dimensions, and looked at it again.

Then I realized that what "looked funny" about it was that it only had two numbers, and I was expecting a third for color depth.

Oops...
