Anyone at high and mid latitudes should be ready for Northern Lights in the next few days. The recent X-flare from the Sun was the strongest in 4 years, and is expected to bring the aurora down to countries like the UK. Monitor the situation at http://www.spaceweather.com/

Edit: No, but that's because the family has the whole place lit up like a Christmas tree and doesn't want to turn the lights out for even a minute. The sky could easily be on electromagnetic fire and I won't see anything. :dry:
