Installation non-functioning help

I have just installed orbiter and everything seems to function fine, although the program is a little overwelming.
Unfortunately I am having trouble with the help function. Whenever I try and use it I get "Navigation to the webpage was cancelled". It can't seem to find the appropriate files. All of the help files are in an "html" directory ioff the main orbiter directory.
I am running Vista.
I am sure I will be needing the help screens alot.
Any help would be appreciated.

The .CHM files were all blocked as you suggested. I unblocked them and help works fine now.

Blocked - what exactly does that mean?
The API help file system for the next version will all be doxygen-generated chm files, so if there is a potential problem, I would like to know about it. Is there anything on my side I can do to fix this?

When downloading any chm files from the internet, I've always found that XP won't open them correctly until you go to Properties and click an 'Unblock' button. Haven't tried it with Vista but, according to this post, it happens there too. I don't think I had problem when I first got Orbiter, so maybe it started after an XP update.

There are security issues with the chm format (some info here) that has led Microsoft to move to MAML for Vista (and beyond?). chm can still be read in Vista (as noted above) but perhaps it will suffer the same fate in future Windows versions as hlp did in Vista (that is, hlp is no longer supported). Browsing the doxygen output formats, perhaps hyperlinked pdf format will be the way to go?
