Yes !!! at last i've released a new version of the [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3992"]galactic map[/ame].

Here is the list of the new features and corrections :

  • a brand new menu interface, lighter and i hope easier to handle.
  • filtering orbits and other objects that isn't useful
  • Auto adapt the font size to the mfd size.
  • Hide orbit shape part that is behind planet !!!!
  • Enhanced auto - Scale to fit specific needs (zoom on Pe, Ap, Show vessel and body surface, show my vessel and destination, and so on. ).
  • Slerp (animation of rotation) is corrected. No more 360° turn.
  • Planet Orbit Alignment
  • Orbit of landed vessel is not drawn
  • Impact point if orbit cross the planet surface
  • Selected item is shown white in any submenu
  • corrected stange init status (when the mfd is first loaded)
  • Backspace is used for coming back to parent menu.
  • Nb point of orbit can now be changed in options
  • added new information relative to planet surface and planet atm
  • No more crash when a vessel disappear (ex vessel's tanks for instance)
Please help me debugging it by sending me all troubles you've met. scenario files are welcome when you can reproduce it.

have fun orbinauts around the world.

I can't get out of the Options sub-menu by using the "Bk" button. It doesn't take me back to the previous higher menu - it just scrolls through the choices in the reverse order.:(

Still a beautiful add-on!

Have the same problem, and I can't see the impact point when the trajectory crosses the surface. Can't wait for it to be completed, it's awesome!

.... thank for the review.
I'll try to fix it could you post me a scenario file to reproduce the trouble.
In some vessel arrow key are forbiden (albator for instance), I don't know why, In others Backspace is forbidden too. I'll add a key choice in the config file to avoid this.

tofitouf,

If i open the mfd at first on the right display (power on...SEL ) and then on the left one, if i try to close the right one ( PWR off ), i have a CTD. I've not made many trys but if the problem can be reproduced on others config...

bonne journée

Oups not tested yet, it won't be difficult to fix.

thank you

Well perhaps there is a little misunderstanding.
I forgot to add a good "Back" button in the mfd interface and I always use keyboard to navigate (right or left shift + arrow keys or BackSpace for back :))

I removed the back item menus as It took some place but it seems to be useful for many of you, I'll add them back.

thanks dude for helping

Have the same problem, and I can't see the impact point when the trajectory crosses the surface. Can't wait for it to be completed, it's awesome!

Use keyboard, I missed something with the buttons. I'll try to fix it soon

And of course you have to be on an orbit that will crash you on the ground to have an impact point...... :P

I'm interested in your scenario if you have such an orbit but no cross point....

thanks

FANTASTIC!
i love this MFD. very nice looking!

thanks a lot.

It's not much but I've updated the version of the map. I've corrected bugs posted here and there. Thank you again, it helps a lot.

Some of the add on MFD's really enhance your general situational awareness and remove any doubt as to what the bigger picture is. This is one of them. Tried it out last night and was enchanted! Thanks!
