Hi everyone, this game is awesome, cant stop playing, still got alot to learn, i have question about the views, i want the cockpit view for Atlantis shuttle, how can i switch to the cockpit view at liftoff, or is the cockpit view only for the Atlantis mission named cockpit and cant use the cockpit view at anytime. if there is a button where i can switch to the cockpit view at anytime, even at lift off, what is it ? anyone know? i tired the z and x button , no cockpit view, i want the whole cockpit view not just the heads up display.

:welcome: to the forum. Press F8 to get into the cockpit. F1 to switch between internal and external view.

F8. The complete key reference is in the Orbiter manual.

Thank you guys, this is so hard lol think its going to take me a while to learn , i bet you guys are pro at it, i know how to launch good, but i cant seem to stay in orbit, after i let go of the fuel tank, i just seem to fall right back to earth lol, i put on the "Hold ALT" but i just shoot back to earth , i wait long enough like 4 mins in flight, isnt that high enough to stay in orbit?

There are many tutorials that can teach you WHAT to do, and WHY to do that. The best to start is "Go Play in Space" search for it.

Ya... you should read "Go Play in Space" (get it HERE)

I also think you might want to read something about space physics, and orbital mechanics and the likes, makes the simulation a lot easier if you understand what's happening and what you're doing.

And I'd recommend that you start out with the Delta Glider, rather than the Atlantis. The Atlantis is relatively hard to fly and not a good beginners ship.

Welcome to the forums, and good luck
