NASA using Orbiter?

This is all very amusing. The real discoveries are being done with remote sensing instruments and unmanned probes. The other 4/5th's of NASA is happy toiling in LEO and the boardroom.

NASA calls this the year of the solar system? HA! Whatta frakking joke. They are reaching. We did 2 probes to the moon, a new mars rover, and a jupiter orbiter.

Seems they forgot mercury, venus, saturn, neptune, uranus, pluto.
Though Cassini is hard at work at saturn right now..

Factoid, NASA spent $475,000 to come up with the different classifications of missions. You know, such as Flagship, New Frontiers, Discovery, etc.. And the bean counter is paid $82,000 a year to maintain that categorical listing.

Given what people did with it, I can understand NASA's hesitation to pursue that project any further.

Pretty stupid stuff that isn't a whole lotta funny. Could you honestly expect anything else out of today's youth? Having to put that kiddie steam thing on my system makes it 2x worse!
