NASA TV going Aussie

Hey guys, i got a new DVD player and it made me thinking, can i get NASA TV on my TV, turns out i cant. But now i sent an email to the [email protected]
To see is it possible to get NASA TV on Australian TV, i cant but i sent this.

I am an Australian Space enthusiast requesting for NASA TV digital comes to Australia, maybe via our Foxtel or a channel on our free-to-air coverage. You could alot of viewers especially during launch. Please at least consider this, its time NASA TV goes international. It will be good for young Australians to see what other people are doing in space and they might inspire to do something like this.

Imagine full blown surround sound, turn it up to max and wait for the shuttle to luanch, even if someone farts in mission control it will make a huge sound.

Saw STS-124 on the pad on NASA TV in my HD TV, then I wen't to see the launch Live from 3 miles.

Great idea.

Perhaps a better "high definition" internet stream for NASA TV, especially during the launches, would be more practical to implement? Just seems like it would cost a heck of a lot more, just to bring NASA TV to the free airwaves, just in SOME parts of Australia alone, not to mention the ROW..

But either way it can be done, so a better NASA TV quality is available here and globe wide, im "high definately" down with that!! =p

Perhaps look into Satellite reception. NASA TV is available on a few different sats some of which should be able to be picked up down under. Aside from that, just streaming form the web.
