Problem Mouse won't turn dials clockwise?

Hello all,

Downloaded Orbiter a few days back, and am enjoying it enormously - have already spent way too much time on it for the good of my degree!

However, I have what is probably a really newbie problem.

I've flown several different models now, from the base package and an addon, and in each of them, I can't turn the dials/knobs clockwise, i.e. to the right, with my mouse. I can turn them anti-clockwise just by clicking on them, but that means that once I turn things off, or to a specific setting on the left, I'm stuck.

So, for example, on the Delta 4 glider on-screen controls, the Thruster Doors are controlled by two dials on the very bottom left of the bottom consoles. You're meant to close these before you re-enter, just in case you lean on a control, open them, and so get burnt to a cinder. But because the 'close' option is the extreme left option, once I've shut the doors, no amount of clicking will reopen them...so I have no retros or thrusters, which I currently need in order to land safely.

Is there a simple solution or workaround for this, please?

Thanks,

SD.

Right-Clicking the dials should turn them to the right for you!

Try right clicking on the dials. :)

Lol...as I said, a completely newbie question. Never thought of that, idiot that I am...

Thanks!

There are no stupid questions, just people who don't ask. ;)

Happy Orbiting!

This happened to me for a while, till one day I accidently hit the right side of the mouse instead of the left, and bravo, I discovered how to turn the dials that way too, Was a minor relief to discover I wasn't the only one to have been stuck turning dials to the left for a while :P.

It took me a while to work that one out when I first started too. Documentation FTW.
