Project Mir station complex / UR-500 family

do you plan on finishing the Proton pad at Baikonur? I think It will go well with MaxBuzz's Proton

I plan many things. Like many many many things. Problem is time and currently, having no place I can call "home". Hopefully things will improve this Summer.

I plan to finish all the projects I started. I spent many hours on my Proton so I'll release it when it will be ready. The rocket is like 70% ready.

Yeah, I forgot about the launchpad, I guess I can send to @MaxBuzz what I have, but it isn't finished.

Will you be doing any N1/LK/7K-LOK stuff?

That's sort of my ultimate goal, I'd be delighted to do it. But again, it will take at least the Summer, that one is quite complex. And a proper implementation of failures, a simulation of the KORD system (emulation ?) would be awesome.

Maybe @MaxBuzz has the schematics ? That would be invaluable.

also, be sure to take into account the "rouge ring" 6 1/2 : p. This was installed to be able to access the Blok D upper stage.

On top of the tower, from about 1985-2002, there was this "white room" for what I assume was the cancelled TKS program's cosmonauts to enter the capsule through. Exact specifications of this are unknown, since I couldn't find any documentation on it. although here are a few good reference photos:

A diagram of the various rings, 1 being the topmost, and 8 being the lowermost (the ring for the 1st stage not included) On ring "2", is where the cab would have been located, shown in red. "Ring 4" is where the Rouge Ring 6 1/2 is.

This second view, shows the position of the "white room" cabin.

This view shows the Proton K carrying Zarya on the pad, shrouded by the Service Tower. The red shows the TKS "white room"/Boarding cabin, while the blue circle shows the "Rouge Ring 6 1/2".

Interesting, I remember that one colored "half-ring" really puzzled me.

Yes, rings were added over time. The tower grew up as 3rd and 4th stages were added to the Proton-K then -M rockets. It is some kind of smart modular design.

On top of the tower, from about 1985-2002, there was this "white room" for what I assume was the cancelled TKS program's cosmonauts to enter the capsule through.

That's a very cool detail, it makes sense.
