Idea MFD for reentry

Lately i was focused on reentring the shuttle, following a correct altitude vs velocity trajectory. (this is the most important part for heat managment).

U can see here that i did something not too bad using surface and aerobrake MFD:

I think that would be very useful a MFD with an altitude vs velocity diagram. I imagine to plot on it the nominal reentry trakectory (from literature), the actual position of my ship on the digram, and the direction in witch i am moving (dirived easily by vertical speed and deceleration).

I am thinking to write it to myself, but i think that it will take loooong, i have never written a line of code in C++ and my last written line in C is dated in the past millennium.

Have you tried GlidescopeMFD:

For Shuttle Fleet, I still use O2006-p1 and GPC MFD, which is imho better than Glideslope (Glideslope is working fine for deorbit burn timing).
