Very useful, I use them to identify the "base" or refererence tile at different resolutions:

I tried a bit of 3D modelling and came up with a palm tree. I don't know how it will look in Orbiter, but hey.

I'm not exactly sure - in truth, I just googled 'palm tree' and tried to roughly create what I saw! I think I'll make some kind of hangar/terminal next.

I thought about making a beach-bar for my Gan Airport, but I ran out of enthusiasm. Happens when you have been at it forever, you have to stop somewhere.
Palm-trees were definetly on the list, along with Jack Daniels, Malibu, and Watneys Red Barrel(they are UMMU characters...)

There are some trees on Orbithangar ready made if that's any help, although I don't think they're quite as nice as yours.

Notebook - I've just gone to have a look at your Gan (I hadn't seen it before!), and I'm definitely going to be adding that to my Orbiter too, so that I can start a little Maldives collection I knpw what you mean - I always start off with a massively detailed and fanciful idea, and always have to tone it down because it's either too much, or because I'm too impatient! I'll be adding a few more custom objects here and there, but I think I'm going to have to stop myself from going overboard and ruining it!

Spacethingy - I checked out the link, and now I'm torn between the palm trees in there, and my own ones. I'll put them both in and see which one I like best, because they're both pretty different.
