Does anyone have any data on the long term stability of the Earth-Sun L4 and L5 points.

I'm considering building a station in each and am concerned about high time acceleration.

Also, is it possible to determine the minimal escape velocity for L4/5?

From my experience, none of the L points is stable over long periods - even without TACC. A station will eventually drift around the L point, and eventually drift off.

To get a station to stay in L4 or L5 I suspect you'll need some kind of autopilot. It wouldn't need to be active every frame, every couple minutes should do. At 10x you may need to run the loop more often, and at TACC > 10x I would sort of just "hack" the position every frame (the formula to locate those L points is fairly light, shouldn't impose too much overhead).
