News Kyrgyzstan unrest.

I'm kind of glad it's a woman. They *tend* to be more responsible, especially in patriarchic cultures.

I hope things will calm down. This country is in a high-explosive region. Russia & USA have military bases here (Afghanistan is not far away). The whole south of the country shares a border with China. And less than 1000 kilometers in the North-West you have... Baikonur (Leninsk) !

I think he only meant that it would make things worse right now in Kyryzstan, as compared to a presidental republic. Perhaps, he has drawn the analogy between the today's Kyrgyzstan and Russia during the mid-1917, where it also was a sudden turn from a lunatic autocracy to a weak interim parliamentary democracy. It just couldn't last long back then.
