KSC Trip Part 2

So, we just got back from the bay just across from KSC! Our group visited the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo memorials there, and got some great views of the VAB and several EELV launch pads plus the SpaceX launch pad. The LC-39 pads were also visible on the far side. We spotted the RBSP Atlas V 401 sitting out at a pad. Our group hasn't gone to KSC yet, but there are some amazing views all the way from this area.

Nice - it's cool that you're staying so close! If it's an Atlas V launch, the best place to watch is probably the Saturn V Center - a wonderful place in itself! That's where I watches Juno, which was also an Atlas V.
