A state funeral has being held for King Michael, who helped end fascist rule during World War II. More than 20,000 Romanians lined the streets of Bucharest to pay their respects

Well, not that he had the chance to rule too much. Perhaps that's why he's seen as such a good figure by the general population. I think he's also the only king to get chased away by police cars to an airport getaway plane when he tried to come back in the 90's :rofl:
