Just saw Neptune and Uranus for the first time in my life :) (with binoculars)

Wow - I have never seen any of those planets before, even with my naked eye. I will try and look tomorrow morning. It was crystal clear on Monday for me too, but I spent all night looking at Jupiter, so I was too tired to get up and see the others, and by the time I needed to get up for school, it was too light.

I am hoping to see an Iridium flare tomorrow at 20:43 - the satellite is only going to be passing within 31KM of my location. It will be about mag. -3. I'm looking forward to that.

It is perfectly possible to see Jupiter in binoculars in broad daylight. Using the Moon as a guide it took me about 15 minutes.

You can see Jupiter during the daylight without binoculars. It's a bit tricky to find find though.

I'm pretty sure that you can even see Saturn during the day with the naked eye, but its even harder to find than Jupiter. I saw it when it passed behind the moon a few years ago, but that was not long before sunset so the sky was beginning to darken.

I've never seen Jupiter in daylight with the naked eye, though I suppose it depends on what you mean by 'daylight'. My binocular observation was done around 3 p.m. in summer, so that was certainly 'full' daylight. I couldn't see it without the binocs, though I tried.
