Scenario Journey to Saturn: Video Series Scenario Pack

Hey guys :hello:

I'll be releasing scenarios for each episode of my ORBITER 2016 video series, "Journey to Saturn".

Scenarios will be uploaded to this post, and I'll update the thread when new scenarios are added. Be sure to check this thread every Tuesday for a new set of scenarios. Tomorrow (Sep 12th) I will publish episode 0 of the series on YouTube, but the first scenario won't be released until the following week when episode 1 is published. :thumbup:

thank you for this cool movie series! I gues it was much work but it's great!
I never got so entertained by an Orbiter video series (Maybe I don't know all of them )

Maybe the increasement of you dv did because you don't have activated "Nonspherical gravity sources" and / or "Radiation pressure" in the Parameter tab in the launchpad? I gues for IMFD you should activate this options but I'm not sure... I guess it also depents on the settings of IMFD which parameters you have to set to be more accurate...

[Edit] I just seen that there is a line in the IMFD5.cfg I have edited on my installation and set to 2:

NonSpherical 2          // Use Non spherical gravity on low orbit prediction in Map Program, 0=Disabled, 1=Auto, 2=Always ON

I have all of that enabled. I have modified IMFD config file based on Dimitris recommendation, so I'm not sure if something in there has caused it. At any rate, I got there, but I wasn't 100% sure I did it correctly.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing.

This simulator has quite a steep learning curve. I haven't even gotten to pre-flight checklists yet - I'm still in the process of finding the right versions of Orbiter modules that work well together, and getting caught up with the community and the forum.

Although I planned on starting with Orbiter 2010P1 and SSU (and all dependent modules), it's great to see what other amazing things can be done in this simulator. Thanks for being a shining beacon for this community. Maybe once I've gotten the swing of SSU, I'll give some interplanetary missions a try.

Even though the learning process is grueling, seeing content like this makes me want to learn that much more.
